The wine was full bodied with gripping tannins that gave way to hints of plum, blackberries, cassis fruit, licorice, exotic spices, iodine, and oak. The wine needs more time to come into balance, but has a nice core of concentration and strength. The wine should evolve nicely for those with the patience to do so, as I anticipate such restraint will be rewarded accordingly in about eight years. Recommended

The wine was medium + body with firm tannins and integrated acidity that brought balance and harmony to the wine. The wine is extremely complex with lavish layers of fruit and earth that play brilliantly together. The wine coated the palate with a plush array of blueberries, gram cracker pie crust, blackberries, baking spices, earthy minerals, and a kiss of oak. The wine was elegantly restrained allowing the supple terror notes to bring balance and finesse to this wine. This is truly a beautiful wine that should evolve nicely over the next 8 to 10 years. The wine had a nice level of acidity that coated the palate and brought harmony to the savory notes of peaches, nectarines, lemon candy, marzipan, crushed minerals, and a touch of honeysuckle on the finish. The wine was layered with orchard fruits and crisp mineral notes, that linger on the palate. Extremely Highly Recommended!

The wine was medium to full-bodied with dissipating tannins that gave way to a polished palate displaying hints of cherries, tart raspberry compote, baking spices, and forest floor. The wine is complex with beautiful layers of fruit and earth; however, I would not wait too much longer if you have this in your cellar, as it’s drinking wonderfully right now. This is a wine that is only produced when the grapes are of perfect maturity and is a blend of five areas, Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves, Clos du Roi, and Chaumes of Domaine Latour Corton Grand Cru. The wine had an enticing bouquet of red cherries, strawberry compote, black raspberries, cassis fruit, pomegranate, chocolate, tobacco, soft baking spices, tilled earth, and forest floor notes. The wine was full-bodied with integrated tannins that gave way to a beautiful palate giving off hints of red currants, cherries, juicy pomegranate, mocha, dried forest leaves, and a hint of citrus on the finish. The wine is voluptuous with a nice level of acidity that unites complex layers of fruit and earth. This is a graceful, elegant, and sophisticated wine with a magnificent backbone, and should cellar nicely for two decades. Extremely Highly Recommended!

On approach, the bouquet gave off aromas of white peach, pear, lemon zest, orange blossoms, limestone, and wet river rocks. The wine was medium-bodied with racy acidity that gave way to a crisp palate of pear, green apple, peach, iodine, vanilla bean, citrus oil, chalky minerals, crushed salty minerals, and a hint of tangerines on the finish. The wine is beautifully balanced with complex layers of fruit and earth, lending to its elegance and sophistication. Highly Recommended!

A magnificent bouquet of cherries, cranberries, black raspberries, glove leather, cocoa powder, leafy tobacco, cigar box, truffles, char, and tilled earth. The wine was full-bodied with rounded tannins that gave way to hints of cherries, cranberries, char, cedar, soft baking spices, and hints of the forest floor. The wine was complex with lavash layers of fruit and earth being subdued with a nice level of acidity. There is a powerful muscular element to this wine, yet still maintains its fineness and elegance. This wine should evolve nicely over the next two decades for those with the patience to cellar it. Extremely Highly Recommended!

The wine had a beautiful bright garnet color and a lovely bouquet of violets, raspberries, cherries, soft spice, orange peel, tilled earth, dried leaves, and a hint of pomegranate. The wine was medium to full-bodied with rounded tannins that painted the palate with a tapestry of raspberries, cherries, juicy pomegranate, blackberries, tea, soft spice, forest floor, and a kiss of citrus on the finish. The wine is complex with dense layers of fruit and earth balanced with an excellent level of acidity. This wine should reward those who cellar it for 10 to 15 years, as it truly needs patience. Highly Recommended!
